Tidewater Kayak Anglers Association

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a welcoming community of kayakers in the Tidewater region and across Virginia. Our purpose is simple:

• Promote friendship and fellowship on the water
• Encourage safe kayaking and fishing practices
• Bring people together through shared outdoor experiences
   

We proudly support charities related to our club such as Hero’s on the Water and Project Healing Waters. Our Annual Charity tournament is the main source of revenue for our support to these organizations.

Through tournaments, group outings, and community events, we unite friends and families who share a passion for kayaking.

Community Guidelines

1 - As a nonprofit built on respect and safety, we ask all members to:

3 - Zero Tolerance – No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment..

4 - Practice Safety – Share safe kayaking and fishing practices; encourage others kindly.

5 - Stay Focused – Keep posts relevant to kayaking, fishing, and our community.

6 - Buy & Sell Responsibly – Only kayaking/fishing gear allowed; remove posts once sold.

7 - Follow the Law – No promotion of illegal activities or violations of state/federal laws.
