The Poquoson Seafood Festival Fishing Tournament. This years tournament will be a Speckled Trout/puppy drum tournament. The tournament will be on Oct. 9th with the Captains meeting on the 8th. This year will feature a Kayak division as well as the traditional boat division. Entry fee is $25 per Kayak. Anglers may fish wherever they would like in Virginia waters, but must be back in time for the weigh in. 100% payout for each division. The pay out will be a 60/30/10 format. There will be raffles and other prizes as well. For more info call 871-9246.

is this catch and release or..... are redfish and spec 2 different divisions?

No not catch and release.   Anglers can weigh three fish, two of which can be the same species.
