You're reading too much into it - the tournament is also going to be extended to the trolling motor flotilla as well.  Paddle and pedal are permitted.

thanks chuck!  sorry I left out the Hobie and other pedal yaks.

we will have one division for motor boats. (aka "pro division" - glitter boats, ect.)

the CPR division will focus on kayaks but is also open to canoes and jon boats without live well... however to keep it somewhat fair they will not be allowed to run gas motors in this division.  So far this division is being dominated by the kayaks

UPDATE: this is a learning process. Roll Eyes

On another posting we discussed friendly father/son competetion and I realized it would be rather expensive for a father(mom) to bring their son or daughter along because there was no mention of reduced rate for kids.

So here it is:

Children under age 16 accompanied by a paying adult may enter by donation only. $1 minimum donation.  Children may also opt to fish in the paid division.  Children fishing by donation will be issued a seperate identifier and we will issue seperate prizes.

This is obviously a tournament some will be more serious about it than others.  Be smart if needed keep them close but the option is out there and we would love to have the younger generation participate.

this looks like a blast.  I have never heard of this lake before but it looks great on a map.  I hope i can make it.  so its regular bass fishing rod and reel and you can also fish the fly if you get your 3 bass limit or do you have to declare one or the other??

If you leave at 4:45am and make a stop at the Wawa at 288 and Broad or the Wawa on Hull Street as you are heading out, you will get there by 6:30.  From my house, it takes me a little over an an hour and 15 minutes to get there.  Watch your speed on 360 through Chesterfield and Amelia.

10-4.  Thanks also if anyone who is going has a measuring board, that is easier to read then mine, I could probably use it.  I have one but it is grey and I took a black sharpie and colored the numbers and lines.  it will work but i need to order a hog trough i guess.

Thanks
Jason
