I know it is way early for this but the date has been released for the annual club challenge. Aug 20-21. For those of you not familiar the challenge is a multi club fishing tournament. Multible species combined points format. We have always been the ONLY kayak club to enter. Against all of the other power boat clubs we have always made strong showing. Avg finish 7 out of 10 to 12 clubs!!! I want to keep this trend going and make sure TKAA is a force in this event this year. I will keep everyone informed of progress and more details as it gets closer!

I should be in the area for this so count me in. You guys might have to show me a little since it has been 3 years since I have fished the area but I think I have a few tricks up my sleeve for this. Grin

I've fished it the last two years and have not put a point on the board.  I think it's time for someone else to have a shot.

Hey Scott don't give up man trust me I've been out of the game there 3 years now and will only have a few days under my belt when I get back there before the tourney. It's all about having a good time and catching a few fish. The first year of the tourney me and a friend caught a lot of nice spot and helped the club get where we got that year. I'm just looking forward to meet some of the new Kayak fishermen and women in the club and tell tall tales of past fishing experiences.

Put me on the list. The last couple I was in were a good time (I.E. good excuse to go fishing) Too bad we didn't field a team last year.

I need an address, please, for TKAA.

I am trying to mail out the information and registration package for the Anglers Club Challenge Tournament.  I mailed a package to TKAA at P.O. Box 4598 in Virginia Beach, but the post office sent it back marked "Box closed; no order" with the additional notation Unable to Forward.

Is there an address for TKAA I can use to mail the information and the entry forms? If so, I would greatly appreciate it in an email to:
RhoKen@AOL.com

Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.

Ken-

Just sent you an email with the address.  Look forward to fishing the tournament again.
